The United States Embassy in Montenegro has announced an open competition for assistance awards, for program: Strengthening Civil Society in Montenegro. The Public Affairs Office in the Embassy is inviting projects that will strengthen the capacity of civil society, as well as facilitate the development of democracy and democratic institutions in Montenegro. One cooperative agreement will be awarded in the amount of up to USD 200.000 under this funding opportunity to a selected organization. In 2017, the focus is on projects that strengthen the voice of civil society, support democratic development and human rights, and encourage the participation of all groups in democratic processes. The initial planned duration of an action may not be lower than 12 months nor exceed 24 months. More information is available here.
