People in Need publishes its first small grants scheme for communities in Serbia in the project Amplifying Local Voices for Equitable Development (ALVED). This grant scheme is supported by the UK Government’s Conflict, Stability, and Security Fund (CSSF). The grant scheme aims to support local-level, community-based initiatives that deal with the impact of COVID- 19 on local communities while cutting across ethnic divisions. The Call is also looking to support initiatives that: address gender inequality at the local level, especially new inequalities arising from Covid19; alleviate Covid19-related challenges for certain groups affected by the pandemic; work with local authorities to meet their needs. Funding for any individual grant shall not exceed 25,000 EUR, and the project duration period should not exceed 6 months. Read more here.
