The U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights and Labor (DRL) has announced an open competition for organizations interested in submitting applications for projects that ensure Montenegro has an effective, independent civil society. Proposals should focus on creating mutually reinforcing relationships between civil society organizations and Montenegro’s media sector to build coordination on shared advocacy priorities and projects promoting rule of law, democracy, and human rights reforms within the Euro-Atlantic integration framework. Applicants should not request less than USD 350.000 and no more than USD 500.000. Applicants should include an anticipated start date between April 2018 – June 2018 and the period of performance should be between 18-24 months. More information is available here.
