Target Group: Cross-border teams of at least two professional journalists and/or independent local or national news outlets from at least two different European countries. At least 80% of the requested budget must go to journalists or media from EU countries.
Aim: To support independent, in-depth cross-border investigative journalism on topics relevant to European audiences, including research costs such as travel, translation, access to databases and journalists’ research time. Teams can also apply for support from project advisors and subject-matter experts.
Countries: Europe. Projects must involve at least two countries; participants from outside Europe may also join when relevant to the investigation.
Amount: EUR 280,000 per call, from a total programme budget of EUR 1.68 million across six application rounds.
