The Balkan Trust for Democracy’s financial and technical assistance for the sub-granting process is part of the broader Norwegian efforts to support North Macedonia, Montenegro, and Serbia. The call’s overall goal is to contribute to the democratic consolidation, institutional reform, and lasting peace and stability in the three countries by supporting CSOs’ initiatives towards the Euro-Atlantic integration processes focused on specific EU negotiation chapters. The call includes three lots: LOT 1: Support to CSOs for the organization of strategic convening/events focused on particular negotiation chapter/s; LOT 2: Support to CSOs for initiatives geared toward EU integration processes focused on specific negotiation chapter/s; LOT 3: Support to CSOs coalitions/networks for initiatives geared toward EU integration processes focused on particular negotiation chapter/s. The project implementation period is between 6 and 24 months. The grant amount varies between lots, between 20.000 and 200.000 EUR. Read more here.
