CfP: BIRN Travel & Reporting Grants Programme (Deadline: 10 July)

Target group: Journalists based in Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic, and Slovakia, including individual reporters, freelance journalists, teams (reporters, editors, producers, videographers, photographers), and media outlets interested in cross-border or international reporting.
Countries: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Romania, Serbia, Montenegro
Aim: To support original journalism projects that provide in-depth reporting from the Balkans, fostering regional understanding and collaboration through impactful stories in formats such as investigative reports, features, interviews, multimedia, and cross-border series.
Amount: €2,500 per grant; up to 10 grants awarded
