The side event at UN Human Rights Council 38th Session, organized by Civil Society Europe and CIVICUS, aims to bring together civil society representatives, UN bodies and State/EU representatives to discuss their intersecting role in promoting and protecting civic space in the EU. The event will provide an opportunity to present findings from a new report and European-wide perception survey carried out Civil Society Europe exploring the conditions for civil society in the EU.
