The purpose of the conference is to discuss public participation as a relatively new and exciting trend in the development of budgetary processes in the region and globally, raising awareness of the opportunities offered by public participation and to encourage its use in the region. Invited are representatives of CSOs, national organizations of Local Communities, Ministries of Finance, Universities and Supreme Audit Institutions of the region (Albania, Austria, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Czechia, Montenegro, Croatia, Hungary, Italy, Macedonia, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia and Serbia).
