Short Description: The READ JAPAN PROJECT invites eligible institutions to apply for Japan-related, English-language books. Applications are only accepted from institutions that a Japanese diplomatic establishment has recommended. Once the recommendation is secured, institutions will be able to submit their application through the secretariat. The project aims to promote knowledge and understanding of Japan by providing educational and cultural materials to institutions worldwide. Applicants must be prepared to bear any local import duties, VAT, and other charges, while the secretariat will cover book and shipping costs.
