Target Groups: Local and regional media outlets producing original journalism, including online news portals, independent digital media, and small radio and television stations with an online presence. Small newsrooms (1–5 members), women-led media, community-language outlets and media serving rural or underserved areas are particularly encouraged to apply. Civic media initiatives without formal company registration are also eligible.
Short Description: A free 12-month support programme launched by IWM Network in partnership with NarativAI and Thomson Media to strengthen the digital capacities and sustainability of 12 local media outlets. Selected participants will receive technical and website security assistance, improvements in online visibility, access to professional AI tools, audience development and revenue mentoring, three online training sessions and an in-person workshop. The programme provides practical, tailored support while ensuring full editorial independence. No direct financial grants are provided.
