Short Description: The EU Award for Investigative Journalism 2024, organized as part of the “Strengthening Quality Journalism in Western Balkans and Türkiye II” project, invites journalists from the Western Balkans and Türkiye to submit their investigative stories published during the previous calendar year. The award aims to promote freedom of expression, uphold the rule of law, and illuminate diverse issues impacting national and regional dynamics, including organized crime, corruption, extremism, foreign influence, human rights violations (including in the digital realm), and other critical topics.
