A digest published by STGM wraps up the response to an earthquake in Turkey. The earthquake led to the loss of lives and the destruction of property. However, various organizations, including search and rescue teams, doctors, paramedics, and volunteers, worked tirelessly to help the affected people. Solidarity networks were created, and different organizations announced various grant applications to support disaster-related studies. It also highlights the role of CSOs in ensuring that children’s rights and disability rights were taken into consideration during the disaster response. On this matter, BCSDN member from Turkey, TUSEV published Observation Notes on the Kahramanmaraş Earthquakes and Civil Society, and FAQ About Donation and Aid in the Aftermath of the Earthquakes in Turkey.
