From 15 to 17 September in Budva, our network came together to review our work, discuss the way forward in addressing new challenges for achieving our strategic objectives, and re-think how we can further empower the civil society for ensuring sustainable and functioning democracies in the Balkans. Through lively and inspiring two and a half days, participants discussed the strategic actions that should be taken in the upcoming period, including a new advocacy approach to engaging with the EU, more closely collaborating, supporting, and building partnerships with other stakeholders for promoting the civic space in our region. We also discussed ways how to further strengthen the exchange and capacity of the network.
