The CSO Partnership for Development Effectiveness (CPDE) coordinates a global activity in evidencing Effectiveness in COVID-19 response to catch the application of effective development cooperation (EDC) principles in national and sectoral strategies policies for COVID-19 response. As part of this global effort, on 1 October 2020, BCSDN organized a regional webinar on the Zoom platform to present two case studies from Europe Region- Albania and Armenia. Introduction and welcoming remarks were provided by CPDE Co-Chair Justin Kilcullen and BCSDN ED, Biljana Spasovska, who emphasized that even though COVID- 19 is a health crisis, the ongoing situation has still opened some new opportunities in terms of global partnership, enabling civil society to strengthen its role in the whole process. Country case studies were presented by the representatives from Partners Albania, and Caucasus Research Resource Center (CRRC)- Armenia, showcasing the Government’s measures preventing the COVID 19 spread, and CSOs’ good practices and CSO advocacy amid COVID 19.
