On 23 March 2021, BCSDN Communication Officer Marija Vishinova participated at the Dynamic Accountability Community of Practice network and workshop session “Sharing Practices of Resilience”, organized by the Global Standard, CIVICUS, Keystone, and Restless Development. The event provided a chance for like-minded practitioners to exchange experiences on how their organizations/ networks have adapted to the crisis, reprogrammed activities, and incorporated dynamic accountability practices during challenging times. Marija shared stories on how BCSDN continued being accountable to its members and constituencies and remained resilient, despite the obstacles imposed. She has also shared the Balkan Civic Practices Edition on the Effects of COVID-19 on Civil Society in the Balkans and provided examples of the positive accountability practices of the BCSDN members. During the second session, participants discussed what the organizations still need to do to build their accountability and resilience in the future. Find more about the workshop’s takeaways here.
