TUSEV, BCSDN member from Turkey, with support from ECNL, published an information note on the policies and safeguards suggested by the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) against terrorist financing, money laundering, and financing of weapons of mass destruction and discusses their impact on civil society operations in Turkey. The Law on the Prevention of Financing of Proliferation of Weapons of Mass Destruction which entered into force on 31 December 2020, strives to mitigate these risks and comply with the FATF principles.
