6th Western Balkans Platform on Education and Training

On 28-29 September, in Belgrade, the Directorate for Education, Youth, Sport and Culture of the European Commission organized the 6th annual ministerial meeting of the Western Balkans Platform on Education and Training. Commissioner Navracsics delivered the opening remarks, stressing that this year’s Platform will focus on two very important priority topics: research and mobility. According to Nacracsics, enhancing the research capacity in the Western Balkans is one of the best investments for the future of the region, not only to keep young talent but to build stronger and adaptable economies, and mobility can have a very positive impact on cooperation, mutual understanding and employability. Since its launch in 2012, the main objective of the Platform is to share experience, good practice and engage in regional cooperation on tackling similar issues. More information is available here.
