The 2017 Black Sea NGO Forum was organized in Chisinau, Moldova from December 4-6 by the Romanian NGDO Platform FOND. This year’s anniversary edition was aimed at reassessing the strategic positioning of the Black Sea NGO Forum in the region and how it can adapt and further develop the opportunities it provides for the CSOs in the Black Sea Region, in order to enable sustainable regional cooperation. BCSDN’s Policy and Advocacy Officer, Biljana Spasovska participated in the closing session organised by the CSO Partnership for Development Effectiveness – CPDE, aimed to inform organisations from the Black Sea Region on global processes, as well as make the regional concerns and priorities known at global level. Ms. Spasovska presented the state of affairs in the region based on the findings from the latest Monitoring Matrix Regional Report, as well as the undergoing initiatives of the Global Standard for CSO Accountability.
